Place the first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Add the chicken and turn to coat. Cover, refrigerate and marinate chicken 4 hours, or overnight.
Preheat a barbecue or indoor grill to medium-high. Thoroughly oil the bars of the grill to prevent the chicken from sticking. Grill the chicken 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. If desired, serve the chicken with store-bought mango chutney for dipping.
